Tell us a little about what you’re looking for, and we’ll be in touch to arrange your consultation.
What We Offer
Professional nutritional advice and evidence-informed education, to help you understand nutrition, lifestyle and the everyday things that support your general wellbeing.
Everything here is a service: an hour of somebody’s expertise, an explanation you can use, a course you work through. What you take away is understanding, and it stays yours.
Our Services
Three services, one idea: you are paying for professional expertise, advice and education, not for a product.
Individual nutritional advice, worked out with you rather than handed to you: what you eat now, what your circumstances and preferences actually allow, and where a change would be worth making. That covers protein, fibre, micronutrients, hydration, and how a meal is put together.
The principles underneath the advice, so you can make your own informed decisions long after a consultation ends. How foods are composed, what nutritional adequacy means, and how to read a claim and tell whether it holds. Available one to one, in a group, or as an online programme you work through at your own pace.
Practical, evidence-informed education on the everyday factors that sit alongside what you eat: sleep routines and sleep hygiene, circadian rhythm and daylight, movement, breaking up long periods of sitting, and rest and recovery. Education about how these work, not therapy and not treatment.
Primary service
Nutritional advice given to you as an individual: built around your circumstances, your preferences, what you actually like eating and the shape of your week, rather than around a template. We start from what you eat now, not from what a plan says you ought to.
It is professional advice and education, and you are paying for the expertise rather than for anything in a box. There is no product to buy from us, no meal replacement, and no diet system of our own to sell you.
What we cover
Primary service
Advice tells you what to do; education tells you why, which is the part that is still useful in a year. This is about understanding the principles well enough to make your own informed decisions, and to judge a claim you read somewhere on its merits.
Available as individual consultations, as group education sessions, as structured online programmes you work through at your own pace, and as part of a subscription.
What we cover
Primary service
What you eat sits inside the rest of your life, and the everyday factors around it are worth understanding on their own terms. This is general education about how those factors work and what the evidence says about them.
It is education, and it is not counselling, psychological treatment or behavioural therapy. If something you raise would be better served by your GP or another professional, we will say so plainly.
What we cover
Specialist Services
Areas we are asked about often enough to have written properly about. Each one is nutritional advice and education, shaped around an adult who has already decided what they want to understand.
Nutritional advice and education for adults who have chosen, or are considering, a ketogenic way of eating. Macronutrient balance, food composition, fat adaptation, hydration and electrolytes, and how to keep the approach nutritionally adequate in ordinary life.
Personalised nutritional advice and education to help you understand your nutritional needs before and after an operation: nutritional adequacy, protein intake, hydration and practical meal planning. This complements the advice of your medical and surgical team rather than replacing it.
Working With Us
The same approach either way. What changes is how much of our time you want.
Private consultations, built around your situation.
Best if you want everything shaped around you.
A live session every week, starting Thursday 17 September, alongside other people learning the same things.
Best if you want regular contact, and some company.
Programmes you work through when it suits you, with your learning, reflections and progress in one place.
Best if you would rather be left to get on with it.
And four ways to pay for it
Our Process
Three straightforward steps, whichever service is right for you.
Step 1
We talk about what you would like to understand or address, and identify where nutritional or lifestyle guidance would actually be useful to you.
Step 2
You receive advice and education shaped around your circumstances, with practical information you can use in everyday life.
Step 3
Where it is useful, follow-up consultations let us review your nutritional needs, answer what has come up, and go further into the subject.
Vitalife Clinic is an independent nutrition and lifestyle service. We do not sell meal replacements, supplements or food products, and we do not run a weight-loss programme.
