Carnivore Nutrition Coaching

Personalised support for every stage of your carnivore journey.

Whether you’re curious about the carnivore diet, following it as an elimination protocol or have chosen it as your long-term way of eating, we’re here to help you navigate your journey with confidence.

The carnivore community is growing rapidly, but so is the amount of conflicting information available online.

Understanding what to eat, how to transition, how to troubleshoot common challenges and whether supplements are necessary can quickly become overwhelming.

At Vitalife Clinic, we combine practical experience with evidence-informed nutrition to help you develop a carnivore approach that works for your body and your lifestyle.

What is the carnivore diet?

A carnivore diet is based primarily on animal foods, with varying degrees of restriction depending on your individual goals.

Some people follow carnivore for a short period as an elimination diet to help identify foods that may be contributing to digestive symptoms or other health concerns.

Others choose it as a long-term lifestyle because they feel it supports their health and wellbeing.

There isn’t one single version of carnivore. Our role is to help you find the approach that best suits your needs.

Different approaches to carnivore

The carnivore community includes several different styles of eating. These include:

Lion Diet

The most restrictive version of carnivore, typically consisting of ruminant meat, salt and water.

Some people choose this as a short-term elimination protocol before carefully reintroducing foods.

Strict Carnivore

A diet based entirely on animal foods, including meat, fish, eggs and animal fats.

Ketovore

A predominantly animal-based approach that also includes small amounts of low-carbohydrate plant foods.

This can be an excellent stepping stone for those transitioning from a ketogenic lifestyle.

Animal-Based

An animal-focused way of eating that may also include foods such as fruit, honey or dairy, depending on individual tolerance and goals.

Is carnivore right for everyone?

Not necessarily.

Like any dietary approach, carnivore should be tailored to the individual.

Some people thrive on a more restrictive approach, while others achieve better long-term success with greater flexibility.

Our aim is not to promote one way of eating over another. It’s to help you make informed decisions based on your goals, preferences and individual response.

Carnivore as an elimination strategy

Many people choose a carnivore approach as a temporary elimination diet.

By simplifying the diet, it may become easier to identify foods that don’t agree with them before gradually reintroducing foods in a structured way.

If this is your goal, we’ll guide you through the process carefully and help you plan an appropriate reintroduction strategy where suitable.

Good to know

Your questions, answered

Is a carnivore way of eating safe?

It’s an elimination-style approach, so it’s done carefully and with structure, paying close attention to nutrient balance and to a safe, considered pace. If you have a medical condition or take medication, we’ll suggest checking with your GP first.

Won't I miss important nutrients?

This is exactly what the coaching is for. We keep nutrient balance front of mind and structure things thoughtfully, rather than leaving it to guesswork.

How does elimination and reintroduction work?

It’s personalised and staged. We take a considered approach to removing and, over time, reintroducing foods, at a pace that’s safe and sustainable for you.

Who is it best suited to?

People who want structured, one-to-one guidance for an animal-based way of eating. Start with a consultation and we’ll be honest about whether it fits your goals.
