Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Vitalife Clinic (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or enquire about a consultation, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Vitalife Clinic is based in Preston, Lancashire, and is the data controller responsible for your personal information described in this policy.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, you can contact us at privacy@vitalifeclinic.co.uk, or in writing for the attention of Steven Pearson.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us directly, through the contact form or the consultation enquiry form on this website. Depending on which form you use, this may include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • The service you’re interested in, if you select one
  • Any information you include in your message to us

We don’t collect any other personal information through this website, and we don’t use analytics or advertising tools that track your browsing activity.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or message
  • Arrange and manage a consultation or appointment, if you request one
  • Keep a record of our communication with you, so we can provide ongoing care if you become a client

Our legal basis for processing this information is your consent, given by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

How your information is stored and who sees it

When you submit the contact or consultation form, your details are sent securely to our practice management system, which we use to manage client enquiries and appointments. We don’t sell, rent or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Our forms are protected against automated spam submissions using ALTCHA, a privacy-friendly verification system that runs in your browser without tracking you or using cookies.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship and for as long afterwards as we’re required to by law or professional guidance (for example, for clinical record-keeping purposes). After that, it’s securely deleted.

Cookies

When you first visit our website, you’ll see a cookie consent banner that lets you choose which types of cookies you’re happy for us to use, or to reject all non-essential cookies. Once you’ve made a choice, a cookie is set purely to remember your preference so we don’t need to ask you again.

We don’t currently use any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy and the cookie banner accordingly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct any information that’s inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we’re not required to keep it for legal or clinical reasons
  • Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information
  • Ask us to provide your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@vitalifeclinic.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including secure transmission of form submissions and restricted access to our systems.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start collecting information in a new way. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
