Ketogenic Nutrition Coaching

Expert guidance to help you follow a ketogenic lifestyle with confidence.

Starting a ketogenic diet can feel overwhelming.

Understanding what you can eat, how to balance your meals, calculate your macronutrients and stay in ketosis isn’t always straightforward.

Whether you’re completely new to keto or looking to optimise your current approach, we’ll work with you to develop a personalised plan that fits your lifestyle, preferences and health goals.

Because success isn’t about following someone else’s meal plan, it’s about finding an approach that works for you.

What is a ketogenic diet?

A ketogenic (keto) diet is a way of eating that is typically high in healthy fats, moderate in protein and very low in carbohydrates.

By significantly reducing carbohydrate intake, the body gradually switches from using glucose as its primary fuel source to using fat and ketones for energy. This metabolic state is known as nutritional ketosis.

Many people choose a ketogenic lifestyle for reasons including:

  • Weight management
  • Appetite control
  • Stable energy levels
  • Blood sugar management*
  • Improved metabolic health*
  • Personal preference

*The suitability of a ketogenic diet depends on your individual circumstances and should be discussed with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where relevant.

Is keto right for everyone?

Not necessarily.

A ketogenic diet can be highly effective for some people, but it isn’t the best approach for everyone.

Our role isn’t to persuade you to follow keto, it’s to help you decide whether it’s appropriate for your goals and, if it is, show you how to follow it safely and sustainably.

Understanding keto doesn’t have to be complicated

One of the biggest challenges is knowing what to eat. Questions we hear every day include:

  • How many carbohydrates can I eat?
  • How much protein is too much?
  • How much fat should I be eating?
  • Which foods keep me in ketosis?
  • Can I eat fruit?
  • What about alcohol?
  • Do I need to count macros?
  • What does being in ketosis feel like?

We’ll help you answer these questions with practical, personalised advice that fits your everyday life.

Your personalised ketogenic plan

Every person is different. That’s why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all meal plans.

Together we’ll create a strategy that works around your lifestyle, food preferences and health goals. Support may include:

  • Personalised macronutrient guidance
  • Meal planning ideas
  • Shopping advice
  • Reading food labels
  • Eating out confidently
  • Recipe suggestions
  • Managing social occasions
  • Overcoming weight-loss plateaus
  • Long-term sustainability

Keto and fasting

Many people following a ketogenic lifestyle also choose to incorporate periods of intermittent fasting.

For some individuals, this combination may feel easier because ketosis can help reduce hunger and improve satiety.

If appropriate for you, we can discuss different fasting approaches, how to introduce them gradually and whether fasting aligns with your goals and lifestyle.

Fasting isn’t essential for success, and it isn’t suitable for everyone. Together we’ll decide whether it’s an appropriate tool for you.

Good to know

Your questions, answered

Is a ketogenic diet safe for me?

It suits a lot of people, but not everyone. We look at your situation first, and if you have a medical condition or take medication we’ll suggest checking with your GP before you start.

Do I have to be strict forever?

No. The aim is a sustainable version you can actually live with, getting fat-adaptation right and building habits that last, not white-knuckling an extreme plan.

What's included in the coaching?

One-to-one support to start, sustain and fine-tune your approach: getting your macros right, navigating everyday life and social occasions, and adjusting as you go.

Will I feel rough at the start?

Some people notice a short dip in energy early on as their body adapts (often called “keto flu”). We help you minimise and manage it so the transition is as smooth as possible.

How do I know if it's right for me?

Start with a consultation. We’ll be honest about whether keto is the best fit for your goals, and if it isn’t, we’ll point you toward something that is.
