Deleting your account

This page explains how to delete your account for the Vitalife Clinic app, published by Vitalife Clinic Ltd, and exactly what happens to your information when you do.

Deleting your account in the app

Open the Vitalife Clinic app and sign in.
Go to Account.
Scroll to Close your account and confirm.

That takes effect straight away. Any subscription you're paying us for is cancelled at the same moment, you're signed out, and you won't be able to sign back in.

If you subscribed through Apple or Google rather than directly, cancel that subscription in the App Store or Google Play as well, because we can't cancel it on your behalf.

If you can't sign in

Email privacy@vitalifeclinic.co.uk from the address on your account and ask us to close it. We'll reply within one month, and usually much sooner.

What's deleted, and what we have to keep

Closing your account isn't the same as erasing your record, and we'd rather say so plainly than let you find out later.

Stopped immediately: your access to the app, your subscription and any further billing from us.

Kept for six years after we last hear from you: the notes about your care, your health questionnaire and check-ins, any blood test results we hold, your messages with your coach, and our record of what you paid. That period is set by law and professional guidance rather than by us, so it isn't something we can shorten by agreement. It's deleted at the end of it.

You can still ask us to erase what we hold. Email privacy@vitalifeclinic.co.uk and we'll do what the law allows, then tell you plainly what we've had to keep and why.

Deleting some of your data without closing your account

You don't have to close your account to have something removed. Email privacy@vitalifeclinic.co.uk and tell us what you'd like deleted — a check-in, a progress photo, a document you uploaded, or your message history. We'll do what the law allows, and where we're required to keep something we'll tell you plainly what it is and why.
